There's so much research on exercise and nutrition that one thing is undeniable, abs are made in the kitchen. Nutrition accounts for 80% of all fitness results. If you aren't fueling your body properly, you can't expect to see a miracle. It's the "garbage in, garbage out" adage.

Treat your body like the temple it is. You only get one of these in your entire lifetime and it needs to sustain us long term. Losing your mobility can be devastating and obesity is speeding up when we start to experience our loss of mobility.

Nutrition is something we don't learn about in school but is one of the most important life skills you need to have. Teach your kids and grandkids the importance of micro and macronutrients. Eating a balanced diet serves the greatest dividends in your quality of life. 

Rage Fitness offers nutrition coaching to those who require more accountability and have struggled to sustain diets in the past. Maybe your friend is doing Keto, but you find it makes you irritable. When it comes to fad diets, they are a dime a dozen and none of them are designed to be done long-term. 

The key to success is finding something that works for your body. Food is meant to be enjoyed, not restricted and not designed to hinder your social life. 

 

How Our Nutrition Coaching is Different

At Rage Fitness, we don't believe that everyone starts at the same point when they walk through our door. You may be a semi-professional athlete, or someone who's never stepped foot into a gym in their lives. We can't treat everyone the same because all of your experience needs to be taken into account.

Intake Process

When you sign up for a Nutrition Coaching session, we spend an hour going over your health goals. We want your comprehensive health history, your lifestyle, your goals, your dietary restrictions due to allergies or religious considerations, and any medications or supplements you are taking.

Based on your initial consultation, we will design a one week meal plan for you based on your tastes and preferences. We'll provide you a grocery list and recipes if you need it. If you are a fantastic cook, maybe an ingredient list might be enough for you to get creative but stay on plan.

There will be a follow up appointment scheduled within 2 weeks to see how you are doing with the meal plan and food journaling. We want to make sure we make tweaks to your plan if there's something that you don't like.

We will teach you about macronutrients and micronutrients and tell you which ones we believe are deficient for you. Supplements may be recommended to get you up to speed quickly but they are not required to be successful. We can make food recommendations that might take longer to achieve the same results, but you won't need to dish out money at the health food store to accomplish the same thing.  

Intro to Nutrition $99 + GST

Included:

  • 1 Intake session (60 minutes)
  • 1 follow up appointment to understand nutrition guides developed specifically for you after the Intake session (30 minutes)
  • Grocery list
  • 1 week of meal plan according to macro/micronutrients and dietary preferences
  • InBody scan (if not a current PT client)

 

Meal Planning

If you find that 1 week's worth of meals is enough for you to sustain on your own, that's wonderful! But for some of us, we need more direct attention and feedback on how to vary our diets while staying on plan. 

Note: you must have completed the Intake Process prior to booking a meal planning service.

$99/week + GST

Included:

  • 7 days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner and two snacks according to your dietary needs and preferences
  • Grocery List
  • Recipes

 

Accountability

Finally, we have something for people who just need someone to review their food journals and keep them motivated. We offer accountability sessions that are 30 to 60 minutes depending on what cadence you prefer to check in at. For some people, bi-weekly checkins are the best to help them from losing motivation. Others who are more self-motivated may only require a checkin once a month. Whatever your cadence, people who do accountability sessions have the greatest success maintaining their results long-term.

Nutrition is a lifetime commitment, but we don't expect you to stay with us forever once you decide to take the training wheels off.

$50/bi-weekly + GST - 30 mins

$75/every 4 weeks + GST - 60 mins

Included:

  • Bi-weekly or monthly accountability sessions to review food journals, addressing concerns and tweaking as necessary, planning for social events or vacations
  • Will work with your personal trainer to ensure nutrition is aligned to your goals
  • In-person or virtual
  • 30 to 60 minutes depending on bi-weekly or monthly cadence
  • Meal planning is NOT included

 

Terms and Conditions

All our sessions require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Same day cancellations CANNOT be rescheduled.

You will be charged for the service prior to booking and no refunds are possible. Please be considerate of your appointment time and scheduling. 

Please note that we are not medical professionals. If you have a complex situation medically, we would prefer you see a registered dietician for your needs. We reserve the right to deny services if we are underqualified to give you the best care you need. Our programming is available for people who are mostly healthy but require a bit more customization in their individual food journey.

Any supplements we recommend need to be verified with your pharmacist or doctor to ensure there are no contraindications with medications you may be on. We are not responsible for decisions you make against the advice of your medical professionals.
